When, where & who

Sundays at 6:00PM

Church of the Valley

Every Sunday is designed for middle school and high school students to connect to community, engage in worship, and teach them biblical truths that will shape the way they view the world.

We exist to make disciples of the next generation.

1. Teach people they have gifts given to them by God.
2. Help people find out what their specific giftings are.
3. Equip people to use their gifts to serve God and others.

What To expect

If You’re a Student...

You can expect a fun and inviting atmosphere where you are welcome and immediately thrust into new relationships and friendships. However, while we have fun, that's not the whole reason we gather together. We are here to challenge, not entertain. You will have the opportunity to engage with others in live worship, be taught biblical truths as well as the skills you need to discover the meaning of scripture for yourself. You can expect a safe space to ask difficult questions you may have about faith, culture, or personal struggles.

The main reason we exist and the reason you should join us is because you will grow a stronger relationship with Christ.

If You’re a Parent...

You, as the parent, can expect a secure check-in and pick-up process to ensure your student's safety from the moment they arrive until they leave. All of our adult volunteer team and small group mentors have undergone thorough background checks, offering you peace of mind. We prioritize consistent communication with families, including monthly updates to keep you informed and connected. Most importantly, we create an environment where your student is known, safe, and supported every step of the way.

Questions for Parents

Yes — we work hard to create a secure, inclusive environment where every student has an avenue to connect with other students and adult volunteers.

This is one of the most common reasons a student does not want to attend. We do everything we can to make sure your student is introduced to their community group leader and other students right when they check in for the first time. We provide ample time and various avenues for your student to connect with others in a way they feel comfortable.

Valley Students is for all middle and high school students — 6th through 12th grade.

The only adults that are allowed on campus during our student ministry event times are our actively onboarded team members. Events where parents/guardians are welcome are clearly communicated through our email chain.

Serving with students is one of the most rewarding yet challenging areas of ministry. Serving with students means you are a shoulder to cry on during a breakup, encouragement when the big game didn’t go the way they expected, and showing up when they need it the most. Most importantly its developing student’s worldview into a biblical one.

You Don’t Have to Have It All Figured Out.

Whether you’re a student wondering what to believe or a parent wondering where your teen fits, we want you to know that you’re welcome here and we’d love to meet you.
