About Who We Are
a church for the valley

This Isn’t Just Where We Gather. It’s Where You Belong.
Church of the Valley is a diverse, Jesus-centered community walking through real life with honest faith and open arms.
We’re rooted in the Pioneer Valley — and we exist to help you find belonging, purpose, and people to walk with.
If you’re wondering if there’s a place for you here, the answer is yes.
Explore What We Believe
It’s not tradition, trends or checklists. It’s Jesus. Tap into the beliefs that shape our lives and call us to something bigger.
Meet Our Team
We’re a team who loves Jesus, loves this Valley, and loves walking with you.
the church we see
We’re not just a church in the Valley. We’re a church for the Valley.
We see a vibrant, Gospel-centered movement where every person — every story, every struggle — has a seat at the table. A church where worship is honest, not polished. Where faith is practiced, not performed. Where Jesus is everything, and everyone is invited to know Him.
And when we say everyone, we mean EVERYONE.

Our Values
What We Believe Shapes How We Live
These aren’t slogans. They’re the way we move through the world — with bold faith, messy grace, and radical love.
He’s not part of our message — He is the message. Everything begins and ends with Him.
We believe no one should walk through life alone. This is a place to be known, loved, and supported — no matter what.
We choose movement over maintenance. Obedience over comfort. Our faith is bold because Jesus is worth it.
Methods may shift. But our mission never will. We’ll do whatever it takes to reach the Valley with the Gospel hope of Jesus.
our story
from basement to movement
1967
founded as tabernacle baptist church
We were founded in 1967 as Tabernacle Baptist Church, born from a living room Bible study and a deep desire to reach people who didn’t know Jesus.

1970s - 90s
building and expanding for growth

2009
rebranded as lifepoint church
In 2009, we became LifePoint Church, expanding our vision to connect with new generations and our changing community.

2015-2023
Multigenerational focus

2025
reborn as church of the valley
In 2024, we embraced our true identity as Church of the Valley — not to start over, but to press deeper into the mission that’s always been ours:
To love God. Love people. And make disciples by disrupting darkness and bringing real life to the Valley.
